It only needs to be tested against Snappy it looks like. Proving it is dominant or recessive to Snappy should place it. Crosses fingers. Anyone with a chart with Wavy shown and Snappy hid or vice versa? No pedigrees here, but I can unbox a snappy and a wavy to test, if you wish? RE: New wavy tail - Aubreygrace Starlight - 07-24-2016 03:53 PM Still working On my wavy tail line too RE: New wavy tail - Kayla Woodrunner - 07-25-2016 08:24 PM Was checking Mr. Cat's chart https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TrDVn0kBF3NhtJewvP4pjq5bYYOrLC10Sk_VyYIWQTc/edit#gid=0 All the new ears/tails/whiskers have been placed now except for Wavy Tail. It is showing between Puff and Dreamy so just needs placing against Snappy (as I noted above -- I just did not realize it was the last of the other traits to be placed). I've put a wavy tail against snappy. My wavy tail is not great as I just got it out of a starter. ![]() i have a couple snappy tails bmt males too at 8% and 23% love that I can offer to pair. I think my Wavy tail girl is pretty (I love the job KC did on the new gen furs and eyes) but I wouldn't parnter her with anyone because I'd feel sorry about giving people gen traits. Her future kid or grandkids will be uptraited. Since about 50-75% of my tests don't pan out, I am hoping someone else is also testing the wavy/snappy. --- note after I saw the pic: wow, that pic came out much bigger than I expected! RE: New wavy tail - Reven Rosca - 07-26-2016 04:23 AM I have this Snappy tail girl (hiding Dreamy) if anyone can use her?
RE: New wavy tail - Kayla Woodrunner - 08-05-2016 11:11 PM Looks like I have the proof Snappy is dominant to Wavy The proof is a little convoluted so please follow me along this twisty path Chart 1 Mom Tibeldie shows Snappy tail and hides Fluffy tail or more recessive Dad Rick starter shows Genesis tail Baby shows Wavy tail Short aside on Mom: Mom's Mom Yuna shows Fluffy Mom's Dad McIvan shows Posh Therefore Mom's Dad McIvan hides Snappy because Posh and Snappy is dom to Fluffy So Mom has to have Fluffy or more recessive as the hid from Mom's Mom Yuna Baby's shown has to come from Dad Rick since it's not Snappy nor Fluffy and Wavy is known to be dominant to Fluffy ![]() Okay now that we've agreed Rick has Wavy hid Chart 2 This Mom Nanne has Swanky tail shown Rick Dad has Genesis shown and as we have proven, Wavy tail hid Baby Arawn has Swanky tail shown which means baby has to hide Wavy tail ![]() Chart 3 This Mom McYalissa has Snappy tail shown Baby Arawn has grown up and now is a Dad Dad Arawn has Swanky tail shown, Wavy tail hid as proven above Baby has Snappy tail shown Known: Swanky is dom to Snappy so could not have passed Therefore Baby has Snappy tail shown, Wavy tail hid Snappy has to be dominant to Wavy If anyone disagrees with my analysis, speak now or forever hold your peace (lol, I just wanted to say the forever hold your peace part because you know how everyone holds their breath for a second and then nothing happens -- or at least you hope nothing happens becuase then there is a huge furor usually in a movie scene) RE: New wavy tail - Kayla Woodrunner - 08-21-2016 07:36 PM This is an easier proof that Snappy is dom to Wavy, just hte one chart Mom has Snappy Dad has Fluffy Baby has Wavy And I have an Olympic Proves Wavy is rcessive to Snappy as it is know dominant to fluffy
RE: New wavy tail - Reven Rosca - 08-23-2016 04:04 AM The proof for Wavy vs Dreamy tails is missing, so I have unboxed this girl ![]() I can't prove it with 100% certainty, but her dreamy tail should be pure. Her line predates Fluffy and Wavy and has never seen a giraffe. This chart should prove that Roshay hides Wavy tail, as Wavy is known to be dominant to Fluffy and must have passed from him ![]() Let's hope these two will behave better than a certain other pair I know. *places catnip on platform* RE: New wavy tail - Kayla Woodrunner - 08-23-2016 04:40 AM Thank you REven! That's awesome of you! RE: New wavy tail - Reven Rosca - 09-06-2016 02:06 PM And I have a kitty! ![]() Mum shows Dreamy tail, which probably is pure. Dad is a starter, and hides Wavy tail as proven above. The kitten shows Wavy tail, which indicates that Wavy is dominant to Dreamy. I can't prove that the Dreamy tail line predates Fluffy, so I've unboxed the baby to pull the hidden tail for a solid proof. RE: New wavy tail - Kayla Woodrunner - 09-06-2016 08:35 PM Yay! That's great news Reven! And you've already popped the box which is awesome! |
