RE: Pet a Megepuss - Kitten Longmeadow - 03-19-2013 01:40 PM (03-19-2013 11:11 AM)Kitten Longmeadow Wrote: Hey guys - I wasked to pop in and give some clarification on the whole petting/riding/cuddling/etc. thing Ok, I double checked with our Dev Team and need to amend my reply. Petting, Holding, Cuddling, Vita-Milk and Happiness Vitamins all increase Happiness. Happiness Vitamins give a temporary boost to Happiness that lasts 5 hours. Petting, Holding, Cuddling, Vita-Milk and Riding (MegaPuss Only) increase Happiness and grant a 24 hour buff that provides a 30% increase to Love gain. In order to get this buff, they need to be pet/cuddled/held/ridden for at least 30min. Presence of the buff is indicated by a solid Happy Face in the cat's stats (versus a clear Happy Face which means no buff is present.) I just double checked this with both Equinox and KittyCatS so I know this is accurate, and I apologize for any inaccurate information CSR's may have given previously. Somewhere along the line there was a misunderstanding and CSR's didn't have the most up to date info, which is my responsibility. So my apologies! RE: Pet a Megepuss - dakillakm Resident - 03-19-2013 07:29 PM Thank you for clearing that up for us Kitten! I also thought the amount of cuddling/petting/riding was 10 minutes so it's good to know it's actually 30 minutes! You guys are the best at always clearing the info up for us even when there is confusion, so thank you again for that! RE: Pet a Megepuss - Nenya Eun - 03-20-2013 04:35 AM Thanks for the info, Kitten
RE: Pet a Megepuss - Kajira Giha - 03-20-2013 08:08 PM Good hearing from everyone, including the "Staff". But I do believe that everyone, well almost, would like the Petting option. Thanks so much for conceiving the Megapuss in the first place! RE: Pet a Megepuss - Sanura Snowpaw - 03-20-2013 11:28 PM Thank you so much Kitten for getting that fully cleared up for us. RE: Pet a Megepuss - Devilness Chant - 03-22-2013 01:45 AM I was right! (this is not a common occurrence, so I shall bask in the glory)
