Retired traits of any sort are useful with starters as those traits won't come from a starter, so they can be a good indicator of traits that may be more recessive coming from your starter kitty.

The rest really depends on how you breed them. Do you want to keep those retired traits? If so breed for them, find appropriate mates for them to keep those traits. Just remember to check the Dom/Rec charts to ensure that you aren't using a more recessive trait that could end up over riding your retired trait.

Good luck and happy breeding Smile

Thank you! I wondered if the traits would compleytely disappear once retired or if you could still get some. Thank you for your reply

You can find them in cats on the market, but can't find them in starter cats or collections.
This eventually may make them less common unless many breed them. And if everyone stops breeding them or keeping boxes that has them, they may go extinct.
But nothing happens to the existing cats showing or hiding them and they do not produce anything special. They just might become rare one day.
