I like some of the new features of the pedigree. I like having other parent listed when looking at boxes a cat made, that is coming in handy. The one thing that still bugs me is how the pedigree hits a brick wall if a cat has changed hands.
Like the other night I had a cat in auction. And I had passed the grandpa of that kitty on to one of my friends. Even if I had enabled it, the link would go no further. So to show the hidden eye of grandpa..which had passed on as hidden of kitty for sale, I had to take a screenshot of grandma's pedi and do a gayzo link.
I don't understand the need for a change in ownship to block going back in the pedigree. Why don't we simply add a new designation? We already have "Owner" why not change to a dual listing of "Bred by" and "Current Owner"? And then open up the pedigree! I hate the thought of not being able to pass a good kitty I just don't need anymore onto a friend that would really use it, but its looking more and more like the only option.

Yay!! We can now look back and it shows the breeder and owner. So exciting! Personally I think they could go ahead and remove the names all together and let us look back on them all LOL

I like this suggestion too Noc, since you and I swap kitties back and forth and breed with friends sometimes. It makes things much easier. Now if I could just get you to stop stealing all my good kitteh..sighs.
