Shocked May have found something special?
So I'm looking through the dominance charts, and right now it shows Fairy Dust as the most recessive, with it being limited to that collection starter (Love 2025).

I just got a kitten who's eyes are more recessive to Fairy Dust (can't see it yet, as it's hidden). Does this mean that it CAN'T be hiding Fairy Dust since it was limited to the collection only? If so, this means we may have a new trait on the way!

RE: May have found something special?
You most likely may have a new more recessive eye. Fairy Dust is currently the most recessive, yes and released in 'selective collections'. Which means that eye will only pass from specific collection starters. We know the Boho kitties was one but it may come out in others on a limited basis.
It's a great eye and here is crossing fingers you have another hiding back there.

"You're just jealous because the kitties only talk to me."

RE: May have found something special?
There is a chance that there is a hidden eye ! There is also a chance it is just pure Fairy Dust ! The only way you will find out is if you breed Kaedee back to her father to find out …Goodluck

RE: May have found something special?
Oooh! If you have *another* daughter from the same dad that shows any other traited eye than Fairy Dust, THAT is the one to breed back to dad, as in that case if Fairy Dust shows up, you know that it came from him. If you breed this particular daughter Kaedee back, you'll have to test every kitten that shows Fairy Dust, as the ones that show Fairy Dust could just have come from Kaedee's shown eye, telling you nothing about what she hides (which could be a new most recessive, but there is, by definition, nothing that can pull that *directly* other than another cat that "hides" it). In other words, you're eliminating getting Fairy Dust from any other source than the starter, so if you get it back, the starter definitely hides it. Of course, I also see that Fairy Dust is listed as collector locked - I haven't ever heard that collector limited/locked eyes can ever show up in any other starter than that one specific collection. Hive mind, does anyone know for sure?

I cannot recall EVER a limited collector eye reappearing in another collection.

RE: May have found something special?
You certainly have a new eye there hiding on the kitten.

Fairydust is limited and any trait that is collection locked is limited to one collection only . It will never be able to come from any other starter but the collection it is locked to.

Fairydust can not be hiding on the Pajama party cat.

So you have a new most recessive hiding on that kitten.

The circle shows it is locked to one collection only.

It is absolutely certain there is something underneath it, that's why fairydust cats are so important right now.

RE: May have found something special?
Congrats - and good luck - Georgia. I'm chasing it too. :-)

First breed back kitten tonight was a failure.
