If it helps, don't think of it as "accidental" .. think of it as a change of heart.

Yes, I'm sure some do accidentally Menagerie .. never underestimate the ability of users to not read .. it's far to easy to get into a "pattern" .. you expect an message, you don't notice it's not the message you expected, you simply press OK and go on.

But most of the examples I've seen cited appear more to be remorse, or selecting the wrong cat. I know it's FAR too easy to select the wrong cat, especially if you're lagging. And, often, you may actually have intended to send the cat in, but have a change of heart and wish you had perma-petted it, instead.

The idea is to handle both cases. Sort of like a contractual Right of Rescission: for example, in most states in the US, you get three days to cancel a loan contract when purchasing a house.
