Cat not being recognized during partnering

I'm sure it's the single quote, but this happened when I tried to pair them:

[21:57:52] KittyCats - Sandy Beach: I sniffed around, but couldn't find Liri's Little Lady :/
[21:58:32] KittyCats - Liri's Little Lady: Type the name of your Cat's new partner in local chat
[21:58:35] Liriel Garnet: Sandy Beach
[21:58:38] KittyCats - Liri's Little Lady: Sandy Beach has such nice fur ^_^ I already love my partner!

As you can see, it worked perfectly the other way around.
