Seems Im having some technical issues posting on this thread for some reason Tongue Sorry for the repeated postage.

You really aren't doing yourselves to the business any good at all by undercutting each time on the new recessive furs. You'll be just as well off selling 1 for say 20K as 3 for 9K, the market will hold better and people will be more encouraged to invest as they know that their investment will be more solid and they'll have time to get some money back from it. So please, a bit more responsibility and also you'll get clients back who don't buy your kitties anymore simply on principal, even though they are cheap. The biz as a whole will profit and yourselves as well.

Most of those who hold out for higher prices aren't doing this out of greed, but to try keep the Biz as a whole, running and healthy, it's a much more intelligent and thought out attitude. Kudos to them.

Thank you for this intelligent insight...finally someone else who sees price control the responsibility of the sellers. I have often been criticize and heard of people complaining my prices are far to high and I do it out of greed. This is never the case, and I refuse to sell a cat for a lower price simply because it has been seen elsewhere for cheaper. I will always do my best to negotiate of course within the buyers budget, but will not drastically reduce my cat just for the sake of a sale. If we all stopped trying to undercut each other and sold a cat for its true value then the market would have a better chance.

Thank you Anna Smile

Now as for the issue of kittens birthing in 7 days instead of 14, this in no way will have a negative impact on the market, most of which has already been pointed out and I agree wholeheartedly with. Most importantly though, I believe it WILL encourage new breeders to KCs, which in turn will create newer buyers for the secondary market. Wink
