FIFA & Fourth Kitties ~

I know it's waay too late, but I'd love kitties born this weekend & next week to have soccer/football/futbol designs in the final countries' colors... just cause I'd LOVE to have a Red, White & Blue, Stars & Stripes kitty to show off! :-)

Yes, I know that KC fans are global & very diverse - just celebrating a bit for our Independence Day on Saturday AND World Cup Final on Sunday!
Ironically, I'll be rooting for England on Saturday. I know several very special people there. :-)

*fingers crossed - okay, screaming - for the USWNT, & also sending my love that the Lionesses take 3rd*


But if we could buy or get kitties in patriotic furs, wouldn't that be cool?
(I know there are/were uniforms, but that's not the same. Although.... I might get a few for this weekend. ;-))

That's a lot of designs to create - you might have to limit it to countries where there are a lot of KC customers or in some other way like for an event like this. But that's also a lot to collect, and there would have to be lots of buying and trading... sounds like a great summer event for next time. ;-)

As for July 4th, we have patriotic statues, I think special furs
would be far too much and/or would leave too many countries aside.

*nods* Thanks! I knew about the soccer/futbol cats, but they don't really do anything for me.

I was thinking more along the lines of country flag cats, I guess, and certainly NOT just for the US.

And, I was also just getting my patriotic groove on for the weekend! :-)

Next thing you know, I'd want them to all be Toys anyway, so I could wear them on my shoulder like I'm wearing Pride, my FlowerS & ShowerS Rainbow girl, to a party today. That's part of why I thought of it. :-)

The thing with the flag kitties when they came out is that there was a lot of whining that a their country had been missed. The flagkitties were released on the special day of the country and since it takes a while to make them it had to span over two years I believe (if I remember correctly). So there were a lot of tears during that time because this country was missed and that country was missed. Which is why I'm thinking that the flag kitties will be all there is to celebrate ones country.

But nothing wrong with getting into the spirit! YAY COOKIES!
